While I was looking for a remote control car for my son’s birthday, I went to see Gabriel, a model merchant friend.
What you should know is that Gabriel’s shop is a bit like Ali Baba’s cave, you are sure to find what you are looking for. Between cars, planes, boats, helicopters, hovercraft or backhoe loaders, anything that can be piloted with a remote control is at Gabriel’s store.
So I explain my quest to him, an orange remote-controlled car, my son’s favorite, and he replies that he doesn’t have it, that he doesn’t own the brand or model I want. Shocked and stunned, I ask him how this is possible. He answers me, gravely: “But Maxence, look, I only have 150 m².”
As I walk out of the store, I think about it and turn the problem all over the place to come to the conclusion that it was no longer possible. It is no longer possible for physical retail to be constrained by m² and stocks. It was then that after very long hours of reflection, I decided to launch the adventure of phygital commerce and develop our applications.
Phygital is the solution that allows in-store to completely free oneself from these constraints and to be able to offer a whole catalog of products that one does not need to buy.
